Google first to correct the Flash bug with Chrome update-Computerworld

ComputerWorld-Google on Tuesday updated Chrome, repair the error in the browser a copy of the Flash Player.

The move let the Chrome browser has outpaced the competition beat: users of Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Safari, and Opera will not receive a Flash update from Adobe next week.

On Monday Adobe announced that the attackers are abuse of error correction, or "zero day" in the Flash Player using a malicious Microsoft Excel documents attached to e-mail messages. Adobe said, that would fix the Flash Player for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux sometimes next week, but did not put the date in the calendar.

Yesterday, Google Chrome update to users who are using the stable and beta builds of the browser.

This version includes an updated version of Adobe Flash player, "said Jason Kersey, Program Manager, Chrome, Google's blog post on Tuesday.

Adobe today confirmed that the Chrome of the integrated Flash contains zero day vulnerability patch.

"As part of our cooperation with Google, Google will receive the updated version of Flash Player for integration and testing," said the spokesman, today Adobe Wiebke Lipps. "After the completion of the test for Google Chrome release pushed through the Chrome auto-update mechanism."

Chromium 10.0.648.134 patched Flash Player download for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux can be downloaded from Web pages to Google. Users already running browser will be automatically updated.
